^ This and the fact that I had to read through an angry rant by someone who was genuinely worried rock would die out because “my generation is making worse and worse subgenres.” Oh? And rock wasn’t a derivative of many genres before it which were a derivatives from another genre — and so on until you reached the beginning of time when we were making flutes and kicking stones?
It’s like I always say - if we let this kind of person have their way, we’d still be arguing about what kind of rock to hit with what kind of stick.
